Bulls Hollow SVG - 22nd February 2014

The SVG has been hard at work undertaking its next clearance operation at Bulls Hollow on the 22nd February 2014.

Again a team of volunteers headed by Graham Adcock proceeded to clean lines, remove undergrowth and create drainage to remove the build-up of water to help dry out the ground below.

Although Bulls Hollow is seen as a less appealing crag and has always been mossy and overgrown in areas, the crag contains a number of great lines and still demands respect for what it offers. Perhaps in time and a number of repeated SVG clearance operations the area will open up more and its condition will improve.

A massive thank you to everyone who took part and especially to Graham Adcock for organising the event and his continued dedication to the conservation of southern sandstone.

Many thanks to Steve Jackson for supplying the photos.
